The collector car market amounted to $450 Million dollars in the United States in 2018. That was approximately 0.17% of the total auction market in 2018 of $264.65 billion.

August 25, 2018 Gooding & Company sold a 1935 Duesenberg SSJ 2594 for $22,000,000.
October 14, 2015 H&H Classics sold a 1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta 1995GT for $12,093,000.
November 17, 1987 Christie’s sold a 1931 Bugatti Royale Kellner Coupe 41.141 for $9,800,000.
August 15, 2009 Mecum sold a 1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe for $8,975,000.
January 21, 2007 Barrett-Jackson sold a 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 Super Snake CSX 3015 for $6,646,000.
June 15, 1986 Kruse International sold a 1931 Bugatti Royale Berline de Voyager 41.150 for $6,500,000.
April 22, 2017 Leake Auction Company sold a 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari for $3,700,000.
