Auctioneer associations in the United States


We discussed state auctioneer associations in our story about management of those organizations.

Largely since the 1940′s, auctioneers have formed state associations within the United States.

These organizations were created in order to grow and strengthen fellowship amongst members, and improve and promote higher standards in the auction profession.

Today we wish to note all these state auctioneer associations with a link to their respective websites.

First, it is important to note that the National Auctioneers Association (NAA) was founded in 1949 and is the world’s largest professional association dedicated to auctioneers. The NAA represents the interests of thousands of auctioneers in the U.S., Canada and across the world.

As well, there are three industry-related auctioneer associations: the Livestock Marketing Association, the National Auto Auction Association and the Industrial Auctioneers Association.
